More Babies

Believe it or not, there are six babies in here!  They are just about two weeks old now.  I haven’t seem much of them–it’s been so cold, they have been buried in the nest.  And Mother Shasta is not too happy when I go poking around!

I expect them out of the nestbox soon.  I doubt Shasta will like that either.

Here is Voodoo’s November litter.  They are about 7 weeks old now and looking good.

Beautiful kits! How many of the November litter will you keep?

I’ll keep at least a doe. I will hang on to them a month or two longer so I can decide which one to keep.

    Hi Erin!
I’ve been having fun poking around your website- nicely done!
Do both parents stay in the cage with the babies? It looks that way by the white bunny cage.
Please give Grandma a hug from me!

Hey Val! Nice to hear from you! No, the dads are not with the babies. Moms are very protective of their babies. The white bunny is the only one in a litter of black babies.

I’ll give Grandma a hug! We would love to see you–come visit sometime! xxoo
